The AvtoVAZ press service dispersed information about a new version of the model. But the most interesting - the price of the car – is still kept secret. It is also not known when they will begin to sell it.

As expected, the Lada Kalina will have two “sports” variants. The first one got a high-power 1.6-liter engine that produces 120 hp, lowered suspension and different design of the front. The more high-powered variant of Lada Kalina Sport doesn’t differ in outward appearance, but has a 140-hp engine. Besides, it will have more powerful brakes, altered steering and 17 inch alloy wheels.

The car with an 120-hp engine will develop 100 km/h in 9,5 seconds and the one with a 140-hp motor – in 8.5 seconds. For comparison: the quickest among “civil” hatchbacks according to the vehicle data can do 100 km/h in 11.6 seconds.
