The new compact crossover Brilliance V5 is sold in Russia now. In future, the assortment of the Chinese brand will be replenished with one more car, but it is not known with which one yet. At present the company has dealers in 17 cities. It is planned to sell 3-4 thousand cars till late 2014. But the Brillance V5 will be assembled in Russia, at the Derways Plant, according to the full cycle – including welding and body colouring.

The compact crossover has a 1,6-liter engine (110 hp) with either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. They won’t produce an all-wheel drive vehicle; the car will have front-wheel drive. The prices for the Brilliance V5 have been announced beforehand. The standard model costs 630 thousand rubles. And you will have to add 60 thousand rubles to buy the car with automatic transmission.
